Dr. Byron Coleman was sent on an expedition to New Zealand to find a specimen of the extremely rare and scarcely seen ‘vampire frog’ that was rumoured to exist. After travelling for days, his team eventually came to the area in the Coromandel Ranges, where the only sightings of the frog had been recorded. They nearby cave to start his search for the nocturnal creature.
