Henry Johnson tries to run from his past by assuming a new identity, only to realize that his sins will soon find him out, in this hair-raising mystery/thriller that is a haunting mix of Rod Serling meets David Lynch! Where is Hell? Who is the Devil? Zachary Bell is about to find out. Zachary Bell is a rising star in the world of advertising and his trendy, often controversial commercials are a direct reflection of his personal affairs. A married father of two daughters, Zach is anything but a family man. A blossoming career and sordid lifestyle of infidelity and Hollywood-style parties are common substitutes for school plays and family picnics. One stormy September night, while driving home from a party with his co-worker and mistress Judith Sample, Zach falls asleep at the wheel. When he awakens a few seconds later, his car is careening out of control toward a steep embankment. As the car plunges over the hillside, it plunges Zach's life into a realm of unspeakable terror. While in a comatose state, the result of trauma suffered during the accident, Zach experiences an evil only Hell itself could unleash. When he emerges from that coma, he soon comes to realize that the evil wasn't merely a dream and that the life into which he awakens no longer belongs to him. The Lobby is available for purchase from Amazon and Barnes & Noble Derrick Slywall formed the Guardian Angels in New York City to help the NYPD combat street crime, but as crime decreased, law enforcement was deemed obsolete. A FREE Look at three done-in-one comic book stories, including Xeric winner "Jazz: Cool Birth." 1. The Xeric grant winning book "Jazz: Cool Birth" is a murder mystery in a 1957 jazz bar, with art and type inspired by '50s album cover design. The result is like nothing you've ever seen in a comic book before, a rich melange of bebop for your glims, a righteous groove without notes, dig? Put on some Monk, Miles or Coltrane and enjoy. Full page graphics and integrated '50s style type from Beatty. "This is a major cool comic title...which absolutely captures the flavor of jazz clubs in the late '50s. It's unlike any other comic out there. A fantastic blend of art and text...It really puts the graphic in graphic novel. The most different comic twist I've read this year." -- Paul Bishop, Bish's Beat 2. The vampire "hero" of "Seductions" is caught in a maddening cycle. He wakes 10 years after each feeding. The world changes around him and only two things remain: his desire to feed and a yearning for a long lost love. Not your mother's romance story! The book features impressive pencils by "Oz," "Dark Oz" and "Land of Oz" illustrator Bill Bryan and computer-over-pencils coloring by Beatty. "Shot from artist Bill Bryan's compelling pencils and enhanced by Beatty's colors, Seductions draws the reader into the vampire's hunt for 'life' and love. One feels his pain even as one loathes his manipulative manner. Complete unto itself, this comic book is another satisfying done-in-one presentation. Seductions earns four Tonys." -- Tony's Tips! by Tony Isabella, Comic Buyers Guide #1644 3. In "Adam Among the Gods," the lead character is an ugly, deformed creature surrounded by a race of beautiful, immortal humans. Adam was an early mistake by geneticists before they perfected the process that lead to a perfect world. Then things fall apart. Clean, streamlined art and inking from "Saint Germaine" artist James Lyle in a comic-within-a-comic format from Beatty. "From the get-go, Beatty gives us characters with whom we can sympathize...He also provides an engaging story at a crisp, but not rushed pace, with a satisfying conclusion...all in one issue...Adam Among The Gods is worth seeking out." -- Mark Allen, Suspended Animation, 4 Color Commentary.com http://www.aazurn.com 14p preview of Rebirth by Corbin Dailey Maria, a young woman who so far has lived a simple life, is about to have her whole world turned around.
